I was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - in the heart of Tiger Country. I went to LSU, where I worked for the athletic department as an equipment manager for the Men's Basketball team. I graduated in 1995 with a degree in Biochemistry. After spending four years in Shreveport for Medical School, my wife Dana and I left Louisiana for my residency training in South Carolina, where we lived from 1999 to 2002.
Dana and I are the proud parents of Cooper (born in 2003) and Anna (born in 2007). Our family enjoys living in this area and plan to remain as active members of this great community.
